01These terms

This site is operated by Erben Group Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202609703M), a company incorporated in Singapore, trading as WhereWeBegin ("WWB", "we", "us"). WWB Media is our studio arm and trades under the same company.

By using wwbegin.co you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site. Buying merchandise, joining the membership or commissioning work each add the specific terms set out below.

How we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy, and what we store on your device is in the Cookie Policy. Both form part of these terms.

02Using the site

You may read, share and link to anything we publish here. You may not:

• Copy our articles, photographs, videos or designs for commercial use without our written permission.
• Scrape, harvest or bulk-download the site, or try to extract personal data from it.
• Attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to any part of it, including the studio.
• Post anything unlawful, defamatory, hateful, obscene, or infringing someone else's rights, to any part of the site that accepts submissions.
• Impersonate anyone, or pretend a submission comes from someone it does not.

We may remove any submission and block access without notice where we reasonably believe one of these has been breached.

03Things you post

Some parts of the site take submissions — questions for The Hub, posts and photographs on an event noteboard. You keep ownership of whatever you submit.

By submitting, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store and reproduce it for the purpose it was submitted for: showing a noteboard post on the board and in event coverage, or publishing an answer to your question. You confirm you have the right to give that licence, and that anyone identifiable in a photograph is content to appear in it.

04Our content

Everything else on this site — the writing, photography, film, logos, the WhereWeBegin and WWB names and the designs — belongs to us or to the people who made it with us, and is protected by copyright and trade mark law.

Our founder stories, playbooks and resources are published to be useful, not as professional advice. They are general information about starting and running a business. They are not legal, financial, tax or investment advice, and you should take proper advice before acting on anything you read here.

Search answers are generated. The Hub's search uses an AI model to summarise our own published material. It can be wrong or incomplete. Treat the answer as a pointer to the source underneath it, and read the source.

05Merchandise

These terms apply when you buy from the shop. We sell to consumers, not for resale.

Prices and availability. Prices are in Singapore dollars and are worked out on our server at checkout — never from anything your browser sends us. If a listing shows the wrong price through an error, we will contact you before taking the order any further and you may cancel.

Pre-order and in-stock. Each size is sold either from stock or as a pre-order, and the listing says which. An in-stock item is one we hold, and the delivery date we quote is a commitment. A pre-order has not been made yet: the date we show is an honest estimate and we will tell you if it moves. Pre-order sizes are not limited by a stock count.

Your order is an offer. Placing an order does not form a contract. The contract is made when we confirm your payment has cleared and send you a receipt. We may decline an order — if stock has gone, if we suspect fraud, or if there has been a pricing error — and if we have already taken your money we will refund it in full.

The fifteen-minute hold. Placing an order reserves your sizes for fifteen minutes. If we have not received a payment confirmation from you within that window the order is cancelled automatically and you will get an email saying so. Ordering again takes a minute, and if you paid but missed the window, reply to that email with your transfer screenshot and we will reinstate it — nothing is lost.

Paying by transfer. On the manual route you pay by PayNow or bank transfer using your order number as the reference, then upload the confirmation. Uploading is not paying: your order stays unconfirmed until we have checked the transfer against our account, which is usually within one working day. Your bank will show the payee as Erben Group Pte. Ltd. — that is us.

Delivery. We deliver within Singapore only. We will get your parcel to you by the date shown at checkout, or by the estimated date for a pre-order. We are not liable for a delay caused by something outside our control, but we will keep you informed and you may cancel for a full refund if a delay becomes unreasonable.

Returns. Garments are described by size and fit on the listing; please read them before ordering. We do not offer change-of-mind returns on a pre-order, because the item is made after you order it.

If something is wrong with it. If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, tell us within 14 days of delivery at enquiry@wwbegin.co with a photograph, and we will repair, replace or refund it. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under Singapore's Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act or the Sale of Goods Act.

06Membership

A WWB membership is personal to you and is not transferable. Your card, whether in Apple Wallet or as a link, identifies you to our partner merchants when you use a perk.

Partner perks are offered by the merchants themselves, on their own terms, and can change or end. We list them in good faith but we do not control them and are not responsible for what a merchant does or does not honour.

We may suspend or end a membership that is being misused — shared, copied, or used to obtain perks dishonestly. You can cancel at any time; where you have paid for a period, we will deal with any refund fairly and tell you what we are doing.

07WWB Media commissions

The packages on the Media Services page are a description of what we offer, not an offer capable of acceptance. Sending an enquiry does not book anything and does not commit either of us.

Every commission is confirmed in a separate written quotation and scope covering price, deliverables, timing and rights. Where that document and these terms disagree, that document wins.

Turnaround times quoted on the site — such as one week for a standard single-video project — run from the completion of filming and assume we have what we need from you.

08Other people's sites

We link to partners, merchants, founders and other sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their products or how they handle your data. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.

09Our liability

We put real effort into keeping this site accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that everything on it is current.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data arising from your use of this site. Where we are liable in connection with something you bought from us, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

10Changes, and the law that applies

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one on this page when you use the site, and the date below tells you when it last changed. For an order, the terms that apply are the ones published when you placed it.

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
